Club activities or language learning?

When many students start Junior High school or High School they decide to join one or more clubs at their respective schools. Most of the clubs that students join are sports clubs, among the most popular ones being, baseball, soccer or basketball. Some students join other clubs like art, calligraphy, dance, etc. Joining club activities after school is most of the time the students own choice as it is not mandatory to join clubs at school. Unless they do not get lots of homework, most of the time students have lots of free time to choose what to do after school. Whatever they choose to do after school should be taken as serious as the actual lessons at school as sometimes what they do after school determines the dreams and goals they want to achieve in the future. Language learning opens a huge world of possibilities and helps you communicate with the others more effectively. Choose wisely.
