東京オリンピックは、2021年7月に日本で開催されます。 現在のCovid-19のパンデミックのためにオリンピックをもっと延期するか、それとも先に進んでオリンピックを行うかについて、多くの会議や議論がありました。 オリンピック組織委員会と日本政府は、多くの日本国民と世界中の市民がその決定に反対したにもかかわらず、先に進んでオリンピックを行うことを決定しました。 この規模の現在のパンデミック組織化イベントでは、参加するアスリートの多くがCovid-19のワクチンを完全に接種されていないため、多くの準備が必要であり、多くの安全対策を講じる必要があります。 多くの選手が思い通りに日本を訪れることができず、応援する人が少なく、とても悲しい状況です。 これらのオリンピックが日本のパンデミック状況を悪化させず、アスリートに多くの成功と栄光をもたらすことを願っています。

The Tokyo Olympics are being held in Japan in July 2021 beyond all expectations. There were lots of meetings and discussions whether to postpone the Olympics more due to the current Covid-19 pandemic or to go ahead and do the Olympics no matter what. The Olympics organizing committee and the Japanese government decided to go ahead and do the Olympics even though lots of the citizens of Japan and around the world opposed the decision. During this current pandemic organizing events of this magnitude take lots of preparation and lots of safety precautions need to be taken, due to the fact that many of the athletes that participate are not fully vaccinated against Covid-19. It is a very sad situation due to the fact that many of the athletes won’t be able to enjoy visiting Japan as they would like to and there won’t be any crowds cheering them on. Let’s hope these Olympics don’t make the pandemic situation worse in Japan and they bring lots of success and glory to the athletes.
